Whether you suffer from the heat and humidity, back to school shopping or vacation bills, by this time of the summer we all need a little break. So I started thinking, what can Tim’s Wine Market do to pump a little life back into every one? How about a little price relief?
It has been harder this year to find wines that hit the $10 and under category. For the most part the glut of juice in California is gone and few wineries are interested in making wines for these prices. When you add in the high cost of shipping and the exchange rate, product costs are just higher. Then for some reason, as I was going over my tasting notes I realized that I have found a bunch of great wines for very reasonable prices this month, some domestic, others imported. When I started laying out the newsletter I had an entire offering of wines under $12.
