This quarter my intention was to show you three wines from less well known areas that a making a big splash in the Somm community. Specifically the Alentejo region of Portugal; Nemea, Greece and, Burgundy? Yes, the Azores wine I selected missed the boat in Spain and will likely make an appearance in the August club. However, a wine from one my favorite Burgundy producers did make it, so now you get a stunning Premier Cru from the epic 2019 vintage.
