Call to reserve your space and we will email you the tickets/receipt. We also respectfully ask that attendees not wear excessive perfume or cologne, as it distracts the other tasters in the room.

For this tasting we welcome the globe trotting Nick Goldschmidt to our classroom, for an evening that will surely prove entertaining and educational.  New Zealand born Nick is one of the most revered winemakers in the world, consulting for dozens of wineries on four continents.  He brings a unique, no compromise approach to winemaking and rejects many of todays conventions such as the addition of coloring agents, gums and residual sugar to his wines.  He is one of the great characters of the wine business so this promises to be a great evening.   For the tasting he will guide us primarily through his domestic wines but with Nick you never know where we will end up.

An Evening with Chris Blandy

Location: Orlando Venue: Tim’s Wine Market – Orlando (Orange Ave.)

Address: 1223 North Orange Ave Orlando, FL 32804

Cost: $25 per person/Club members $20

Start: February 27 @ 7:00 pm | End: February 27 @ 9:00 pm

We are still waiting for confirmation of this event so we will be creating an attendance list, but will not charge you for the tickets until we are positive Chris will be available.

I am incredibly excited to host Chris Blandy for a tasting of his family wines from the island of Madeira.  Chris is the fourteenth generation of his family to lead this firm, which controls much of the quality Madeira shipped around the world.  It is a rare chance to taste history with someone whose family was there at the beginning.   For this tasting Chris will guide us through their five and ten year bottlings, as well as a selection of Colheita and vintage wines.  If you have never tasted Madeira, which was used by our forefathers to toast the Declaration of Independence and our Independence, this will be an amazing introduction.
